Reddit's bot-protection wall stopped our scraper cold — the title served was literally "Prove your humanity," not a content page. At 163KB with just one inline image, almost nothing rendered beyond the challenge screen. The infrastructure runs on snooserv, Reddit's own CDN, with HSTS enforced and a 513ms TTFB. No third-party ad networks appear in the page source, and only two external domains are linked. Actual subreddit content requires clearing that gate first.
